WRITING THE BUSINESS PLAN  

In the Mini-MBA program, one of the first and most important steps we take, together, is learning how to write a strong, practical business plan. Together, we explore the essential areas every plan should cover—defining your vision and mission, analyzing your market and competition, mapping out marketing strategies, structuring operations, and developing clear financial projections. You’ll also learn how to identify key performance indicators and anticipate potential challenges so your plan becomes not just a document, but a real roadmap for growth and success.


PILLAR ONE: OPERATIONS

In Our Operations Component, we will accomplish the following:

  1. Apply lean systems and Six Sigma principles to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

  2. Build clear operational flow systems - both administrative and customer centric

  3. Design an inviting business environment that reflects professionalism and culture.

  4. Develop a structured, impactful curriculum that supports student progress and success.

  5. Create and optimize martial arts class schedules to maximize time and teaching efficiency.

  6. Capture and analyze performance data, track key statistics, and use reports for informed decision-making.

  7. Write clear, actionable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency


PILLAR TWO: HUMAN RESOURCES

In this segment of the Martial Art MBA program, we focus on building a strong foundation for managing your team effectively and responsibly. You’ll learn how to create and maintain proper personnel files, understand hiring laws and compliance requirements, and stay up to date with key regulatory issues. We’ll also cover securing the right insurance coverage, developing clear job descriptions and staff policies, and establishing training and evaluation systems that keep your team motivated, accountable, and aligned with your vision.


PILLAR THREE: MARKETING

True marketing builds a brand that works for you every single day. Together, we’ll create a complete marketing system designed to attract, engage, and retain students—not just fill your inbox with inquiries. We’ll cover everything from setting the right pricing strategy to developing a clear, consistent brand identity that reflects your values and resonates with your community. You’ll learn how to ensure consistency across all channels, craft messaging that connects, and build campaigns that turn interest into long-term loyalty. The goal isn’t quick wins—it’s a sustainable brand presence that fuels steady growth year after year.


PILLAR FOUR: FINANCE

In the Finance segment of the Mini-MBA program, we tackle one of the most commonly overlooked areas of small business ownership: understanding your numbers.

  • You’ll learn proper bookkeeping procedures and how to create essential financial statements—including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements—so you always know exactly where your business stands.

  • We’ll dive into building an active pro-forma to forecast growth.

  • Explore the differences between financial accounting (for compliance) and managerial accounting (for decision-making).

  • You’ll gain insight into managing assets, setting financial goals, and using data to guide strategic choices.
